Dr. Ryan S Lee
Dr. Ryan S. Lee, DDS, MPH, MHA, FAGD, FICOI is a double-fellowship credentialed dentist with postgraduate training in 1) implants, 2) sedation dentistry, 3) cosmetics, 4) adult braces/orthodontics, 5) snoring/sleep apnea, 6) oral oncology, and 7) full-mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Lee is currently Director of Dental Oncology at Great Hill Dental Partners (Boston, MA) and Chief Medical Officer of New York Center for Dental Oncology (New York, NY). From 2012-2015, he served as Assistant Professor with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology, and Medicine at NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee completed his Doctorate from New York University, graduating with honors and having served as President of the American Student Dental Association. Subsequently, he completed a General Practice Residency at Jersey City Medical Center (NJ), followed by a 2-year fellowship in Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (NY). Prior to clinical training, Dr. Lee obtained his bachelor's at Northwestern University (IL) and master's degrees at Harvard University (MA) and A.T. Still University (MO), focusing on public health policy and management.
In service to his community. Dr. Lee travels to Haiti and Northeast Asia 2-3 times a year to lecture at medical/dental schools, as well as to provide free dental care for the underserved. He is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (New York, NY), Reah International (a non-profit committed to innovative projects in North Korea), and For Hope International (a 501(c)(3) charity committed to sustainable health improvement in Haiti).
Dr. Tae H Kwon
Dr. Tae Hyun Kwon was born and raised in South Korea before moving to Toronto, Canada after high school. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto and his Master of Medical Science degree and Periodontology certificate from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, earning numerous awards and scholarships in the process.
Dr. Kwon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified). Dr. Kwon is actively involved in teaching continuing education courses to other dentists on dental implant therapy, periodontal therapy, advanced bone grafting techniques, and minimally invasive gum grafting techniques. He has also served as a part-time clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and lectures at the Tufts School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kwon has served as an ad-hoc reviewer and editorial board member of the academic journal Quintessence International and a reviewer for the British Dental Journal and Oral Health and Dental Management. He is also the author of many articles in peer-reviewed dental journals.
Aside from his passion for dentistry, Dr. Kwon is happily married to his wife Jihae, with whom he has a lovely daughter, Hailey and a lovely son, Evan. He is a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and also loves, skiing, fishing, running.
